Blogging break

Sorry to everyone for not blogging lately. I guess I'm kinda accidentally taking a break from it. I have a bunch of good stuff to post but I'm heading to North Carolina for this exciting new job I got!! So I won't have any new pics to post because I don't have my camera card. I am boarding the plane now, so I will have to write more later. Just giving everyone a heads up since I haven't blogged in like 10 days. Just been busy and been trying to spend every spare second I had with my family. Ok, gotta turn off cell phones now.

Ahh, nice weather!

Well, my weekend started off kinda crappy, but turned out to be fabulous!!  Friday night we took the kiddos to Pizza Warehouse--it's kinda a staple on Friday nights.  So after about 10 minutes of playing games, I was seeing spots and just knew I had signs of getting a migraine!  Yikes!!!  So we left and the boys were not happy.  But, I headed straight to bed with 2 Excedrin Migraine pills and was out.  Then I woke up at 4:30 in the morning throwing up!  What the heck??!!

So I basically stayed in bed til noon alternating throwing up and sleeping.  But finally, I got to feeling better.  My head stayed sore all day from the migraine, but I was feeling much better.  About 2:00, we decided to get out and do something, and boy are we glad we did.  We kinda just took of driving and ended up at the Nature Center.  It is fabulous over there.  We went inside the center for a bit, but we really had an even better time just playing around outside on the trails and stuff.

We really had a blast!  I can't wait til it all dries out over there and we are gonna go back and have a picnic and walk every single trail.  It was a great time! 

Then last night, Rob and I went to dinner with Shane and Crystal at Hardscrabble.  They had a Valentine's dinner there, so we ate and listened to a band.  It was a lot of fun and nice to just chill a bit after being sick all night the night before!  So, today is my last day as a non-working woman...I'm very much looking forward to starting my new career!!!  This week the home study begins and then off to training in North Carolina...wowza!!  I am so lucky and blessed to have such a great family and support system to allow me to take on such an exciting career!   Hope you all have a great day!!

Lazy, lazy week

I really enjoy staying home with the kids and Rob and playing, but I am so ready for warmer weather.  If we are going to be home, I'd so much rather be playing ball, swinging, or jumping on the trampoline than being pegged with a snowball!  But, it has been a really fun week....I just feel extremely lazy!  Today is my last day as a non-working woman, so I'm going to enjoy it.  I think maybe next weekend we are gonna head outta town for a few days and treat the kids to a fun weekend.  Not sure where yet, but I'm excited. 

Yesterday we went to my parents house in Mulberry to do some sledding.  They have a huge hill that is perfect for sledding.  But for some reason, the boys just were not feeling it.  I think they got shorted on their nap and preferred to sit inside and watch tv.  How boring!  We may try again today after their nap. I had them in like 5 layers of clothing so they sure didn't get cold, but lack of nap does not work for my children.  Rob and I went down the hill on our sleds like 10 times!  It was seriously awesome!!

Rob is back to work today so it's just me and the kiddos at home.  The boys have haircuts this afternoon...FINALLY!!  So that is about all we have going on.  Hope you millions of readers really enjoy your weekend!

LOVING LIFE!!!

I am so far behind on blogging.  Sorry...I had a busy week last week.  I was out all week trying to get prepared for a job interview that was today.  I went up to Rogers to interview and actually got the job!!!!!  I am so excited.  It is with Victory Pharma, and I cannot wait to get started.  I start next Monday, so I'm taking this week to chill :)

I do not care for all of this cold weather and snow, but my children and my husband just love it!  They have had the best time playing in it.  Rob and Lucas Caden have had some very serious snowball fights.  Cash doesn't really get into them too much.  He seems to be the one always getting hit with the snowballs..poor guy!

It has been a great week.  We went to my parent's house Thursday night and mom cooked biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs, bacon...all the good old breakfast foods!  It was so good!! This weekend we went to Pizza Warehouse and the kids had a blast.  I am so tired of this cold weather though.  We are certainly ready for spring time here at the Waters house.  It will be our first spring in the new home, and I know we will really enjoy it. 

So long for now...time to get the kiddos to sleep.
