Birthday Boy

Cash Benjamin Farris was born on March 15, 2006.  He weighed in at 9 pounds and 6 ounces.  His poor little face was black, blue and purple with bruising because he had been in the birth canal for a long time.  He had the most swollen up, chubby little face I'd ever seen.  He was the best sleeping baby I could have imagined.  He slept all the time and was so easy going.  He would just lay in his play pen and kick around all the time by himself.  He would let mommy work out and lay in the floor and watch!  What a little angel! 

That little angel has grown into such a funny little man.  Cash is seriously the funniest thing I could've ever imagined.  He is always cracking us up.  And he knows how dang cute and funny he is which is not good!  That little man sure does make me smile!

I love my children.  They make my world go round.  Sometimes when I look back through pictures of them it is all I can do not to cry.  We have made so many incredible memories with these 3 angels, and we are so blessed to be able to raise such wonderful little people.  Life cannot get any better than this!  So happy birthday to my not so little baby boy Cash B!!!

Isn't life grand.....

I tell you what I have got to get better about this blogging stuff!  I just don't have the time to do it anymore.  I am so far behind on my blogging, even further behind on my workouts, and months behind on fixing a homecooked meal for my family!  I have got to get it all figured out, but just have not quite gotten that done yet.  By the time I get home at night all I want to do is spend time with my family and that does NOT include cooking, cleaning the kitchen and all that stuff. 

Anyway, life has been pretty hectic but very good in the Waters house lately.  The kids seem to be getting bigger and more independent by the day.  My Lucas Caden is 5 years old now and about to play his first season of tee ball!  I am so excited about that.  But he is getting so big.  And in only a few months he will start kindergarten, and I am expecting to need the whole day off work to recover from completely losing it when I drop him off!  Seroiusly, I cannot even believe how big he is and that he is about to start school. 

Cash turned 4 years old on March 15.  I swear I'm gonna devote a whole blog to him and his bday celebration...maybe later tonight if I have the energy!  He had a really nice birthday...got all kinds of stuff.  It's amazing to me to see how far Cash has come in this last year or so with how well he behaves.  He is becoming such a nice little man.  He hasn't lost any of his spunk though, that's for sure!

And then there's little princess C.  She is doing so great!   That baby girl brings so much joy to our lives every single day.  We have so much fun watching her explore and learn.  My favorite thing in the world is watching the boys teach her stuff.  There is nothing more precious.  I am one happy, blessed woman.  There is no reason for God to have blessed me the way he has, but I am so eternally grateful for my amazing family. 

Somebody feed that baby!  She got this cinnamon melt package from the top of the trash can, opened it up and buried her face in it!  What a hoot!!

Weekend in OKC

 This post has been a long time coming!  We spent the entire weekend in OKC with the kiddos a few weeks ago and had so much fun!!  We went there on Friday evening and Rob and the boys went swimming in the indoor pool.  Camryn and I stayed in the room and cuddled up in the bed.  We didn't get to sleep til like midnight that night! 


So Saturday morning we got up early and headed to the OKC science museum!  What a blast that was.  Seriously, that is one of the most fun places we have ever been.  It was probably the boys favorite thing we've ever done.  They have so many neat displays there and kids can literally touch and play with everything there.  It's really nice b/c you don't have to tell them not to touch this or that.

This is the funniest picture from the whole weekend in my opinion.

So possibly the coolest thing that the boys have ever been a part of also happened while we were there.  They put on a live explosion show with a young guy who is the 'scientist' and he performs all of the explosions.  Well, for each one he calls for volunteers from the audience.  And he chooses them by who is jumping up and down and acting the most excited.  So Lucas Caden got to go on stage and do an experiment with him!   It was so fabulous.  And about 5 minutes later, he called for another volunteer and somehow Cash got chosen that time!!  It was freakin awesome!!!  They got to go on stage at the show and help with a small little chemistry explosion...it was so much fun!!  Rob got them on video so we have watched them a bunch and the boys love watching them! 

After we left the science museum, the boys for some reason thought they had plenty of energy to go walk around the zoo...Haha!  Cash ended up riding in Camryn's stroller most of the time, while she either walked or we carried her.  Lucas Caden was totally good and had a blast b/c he took his camera and took pics of all of the animals :)

It was an absolutely fabulous weekend of family fun!  We are looking forward another weekend trip very soon.  We are heading to the Tulsa aquarium next time and probably that big pizza place over there that has the indoor go kart track!  Yay!!

Back in Action

Ahh, it feels so great to be home!  I am so far behind on my blogging, but I didn't figure anyone wanted to read about my time in North Carolina training for work.  Plus, I had so much to do when I was there that I didn't have any time to blog anyway.  I'm so glad to be home and back with my family.  I missed them like crazy!!  Rob is the most amazing, special man!  How in the world was he able to keep his sanity and take care of the kiddos for that long?  He is so great!  I'm so lucky and blessed to have him in my life! 

So Saturday turned out to be a pretty nice day, and we were able to play outside a little bit.  These kiddos love being outside!  We jumped on the trampoline, rode bikes and Camryn drove the jeep around the yard.  Then after naptime (mommy and daddy included on that), we got ready and went to my parent's house.  Mom was out of town, so we ate pizza with dad.  Then we all headed to the Alma games.  Both the girls and boys won, which means they are both playing for the state titles next weekend!  How exciting.  Caden really enjoyed the game, but Cash was ready to go not too far into it.  Camryn did pretty well, but she was way more into walking around than sitting.

So tomorrow marks my first day out in the field with the new job. I'm really excited to start this career, and hopefully it will be great!
