Life as we know it
So this is one interesting week might I say....we are heading to California on Thursday and are so super excited!! We have a lot of big plans for out there. We are planning on going to Sea World, Lego Land, the beach, and the San Diego Zoo. Yikes!! What are we thinking? Rob and I are gonna be wiped out. But I cannot wait! We also have an adult date night planned for Saturday night with Jess and Chip. My mom and dad are going to SD as well so they said they'd watch the kiddos Saturday night so that we can go on our dinner date. I'm really excited!!
Sunday afternoon we are also going to go to Del Mar racetrack! It's opening weekend for which Jess tells me the whole town of SD shuts down and goes....which explains why there are NO HOTEL ROOMS in San Diego this weekend! But anyhow, it'll be so much fun. It's family fun day there as well so there will be plenty for the kids to do.
The boys have never flown before so I'm pretty nervous about that. For one, I don't care for flying at all! I have flown a bunch so I should be used to it, but I just don't like it. But whatever, there are some places you just have to fly to. So hopefully the kids will behave on the flight!
So back to life....Rob bought a canoe to take out into the creek in our backyard and he has been loving it! Me, him and Camryn took a little trip on it Sunday morning and it was so much fun! It was very relaxing and peaceful. The water is very shallow out there, like 3-6 feet so I feel pretty safe. Plus we all have our life jackets. So yesterday he took the boys for their maiden voyage and they loved it. They were so good just sitting in the canoe and splashing their hands in the water. I wasn't sure that it would get much use but so far Rob has been loving it!
Last night Camryn decided she didn't want to sleep for some reason. She woke up kinda whining around 12:15 and literally didn't stop screaming til about 3:00 a.m. It was craziness! She has never done anything like that. I rocked her, held her, sang to her, tried to feed her, tried to play, sit her up, gave her tylenol, bounced her....and nothing at all worked. I think she ended up just kinda passing out after about 3 hours of crying and screaming. It's so hard when you feel as parents like something is wrong with your baby but you cannot figure it out. She didn't have fever or any symptoms so that was the craziest part. It was like she was just screaming for no apparent reason :( Poor baby. But she finally fell asleep and is just now waking up and it's 9:00 a.m.
I am still home today b/c the company I work for got bought out yesterday which more than likely means I'm out of a job. Poop!! I really enjoy what I do and hope that something will come around. We are supposed to find out today at 5:00 exactly what our fate is. Whatever....everything will work out. I'm kinda bummed, but hey, life is fabulous!!! My marriage is great, kids are healthy and great, and I love my life. So if I lose my job, it's ok!

This fabulous life!
What a great weekend we had! Friday evening we went swimming at the athletic club then onto dinner at El Celaya!! Yummy!! Then Saturday we played outside ALL morning til lunch time. My mom and dad stopped by for a bit and hung out. Then we took a nap before heading to Mulberry for dinner and swimming. Well while we were there my mom offered to babysit and let Rob and I go to the horse races!!! So we took off for Tulsa and had a blast!
Sunday we went to NWA for a shopping trip! It was fun and Camryn was sooo good!
Last night we had dinner with my parents from Butcher Boys...delish!! Tonight we went to the ath club to swim! We kinda live it up in the summer bc the kids LOVE swimming!!!
We are getting really excited for Cali!! Only 9 days!

No Time
Unfortunately blogging has gone by the wayside in my life. I really enjoy doing it, but I literally don't have the time. I don't like staying up late or getting up early and those are the only 2 times I could actually have time to blog. I think it's been 3 or 4 weeks since I've written anything, and a WHOLE lot has happened. Of course I can't think of much of it now since I'm sitting here on July 4 at 11:15 at night wondering why I'm still up. I did get a new laptop though, so that should make it a little easier to keep up. We also bought the kids a new playgroung/swingset and a basketball goal! We have had a fabulous summer so far playing outside and swimming at mom and dad's. The kids LOVE swimming. Last week they did a tennis camp at Hardscrabble which was so much fun! Lucas Caden learned how to FLIP off the side of the pool/diving board. Oh my word! I guess he learned how to do it off the diving board but mom and dad don't have one, so he did it off the side and I swear my chin hit the floor! He is only 5 years old, and I sure can't flip, so I'm not sure how he learned or who taught him. But it's awesome!!
Camryn is bigger and smarter and funnier every minute. She is at such a fun age! I mean that girl cracks us up. She has the sweetest, prettiest little grin. She loves to dance and clap and sing along to movies and the radio. What a stinker! She is an outside girl, too. She never misses a beat when the boys are playing outside...has to be right there with them. And I tell you what, they are the sweetest, most loving big brothers....so loving and patient with her.
And then ole Cash B. That kid has to have the best sense of humor of any 4 year old out there. He is so creative and witty that I just can't imagine where he gets some of his jokes! He is seriously hysterical. He LOVES to dance, too. Tonight Rob plugged in the iPod into the Bose sound system thing and Cash got up from the dinner table and just started cutting a rug. He is so fun!
These silly kiddos make our lives so fulfilled! We have so much fun with them. We try to soak up every single second we have with them, b/c I know the time will come when they don't wanna spend nearly as much time with us!
So summertime will be gone before too long, and Lucas Caden will start school....Cash will be in pre-K and Camryn will be nearing her 2nd birthday. It's crazy how time flies! Crap, I will be 30 years old next year!! But what can I say, my life is about as perfect as it could possibly be right now so now complaints!!

These next 2 pics are from last Thursday June 30 when Jess came into town. We all went out to Rib Room to watch Heath and the Hangman. It was freakin awesome! Probably the most fun Rob and I have had going out since we've met...seriously! They are so very talented and we just had an awesome time! Didn't hurt that Jess was in either!!!! Only 17 days til we leave for San Diego!! Woohoo!!
