Weekend/Rain Delay

We had a wonderful weekend.  Friday was the only night last week that we did not have something planned.  We had played 3 tee ball games last week and were exhausted!  Caden is playing so great, and we are having a great time with it!  Cash is doing the typical first year stuff like playing in the dirt.  But he is a lefty and is hitting the ball really well.  It's been a blast so far, but we so much enjoyed being home Friday night!  Saturday Rob, Camryn and I headed to Little Rock.  I had a tennis match at 11:30.  My mom and dad offered to keep the boys, so we let them.  I hated to miss all that time with them, but I am always ok with it if my parents have them.  I think they had a wonderful day!  Dad fixed them pancakes, had bought them a new race car track, and even let them swim a little!!  SWIM!!  How fun!  Then mom fixed them spaghetti for lunch!  Sounds like a fabulous day to me!  We won our tennis match and got home around 3:30.  We headed home and played inside and out.  Then late Saturday evening Rob and I had a date night.  Jered and Tasha watched Camryn, which was really great of them.  We went to Movie Lounge with our friends Jennifer and Grant.  That place is absolutely beautiful!!  The food was delicious as well!  It is a really neat place and the color/design in there is just stunning! 

Sunday we didn't do much of anything.  Just a lot of playing and relaxing.  It was so needed and appreciated.  Last night we had Camryn's gymnastics.  She is so cute and sweet and has such a great time doing it.  I love that girl so much.  She is an absolute joy!!  After her class we headed over to El Celaya for dinner.  Oh that place--it is just so delicious!  I bet I've mentioned it in this blog 100 times!  It is so good!!  After we put the kids to bed, Rob came in and told me our kitty had had her kittens!!  I was so excited!  I love cats/kittens!  She is a small little calico so I was thinking she had 2 or 3.  Boy did I underestimate!  She had 6!!!  Oh my!!  They are so tiny and cute :)

Today was a great day!  Got home from work/school and played outside for about an hour.  Then we showed the kids the kittens and they loved it!  It was just precious.  We had a wonderful night of playing!  The boys had a ball game scheduled but it got cancelled.  I was somewhat upset but so thankful to get some time at home with my sweet angels!  I have the best kids!  They are so sweet and loving and bring me so much pure happiness!

Great weekend and first night of t ball!!

This weekend was wonderful! Saturday Rob and I went to LR for my tennis match. After we won, he and I changed clothes and headed out for a wonderful, delicious dinner!! It was fabulous! Thank the good Lord for my parents who kept the kids so we could have a date!

Sunday we really spent the day relaxing! Camryn and I jumped in the trampoline forever yesterday morning. She had the best time! We played inside part of the day, too. It was a great Sunday!!




Today began our t ball season! The boys did great. Caden fielded a lot of balls and even tagged one kid out! It was awesome!! He got some great hits, too! Cash ran a couple balls down and threw them in, too. He is the only lefty on the team so it's really cool!! He got some really good hits as well.

Ready for the weekend!

What a fun, busy week! We are getting busier each week with the kids activities. Monday is Camryn's gymnastics, Tuesday is the boys and t ball is thrown in there whenever coach calls practice.

Wednesday we had dinner w my parents at El Chico. Yummy! Thursday the boys had t ball practice. Caden is playing 1st base! I think with some practice they might be pretty good. We shall see :)

Last night was pretty chilly! We played a little basketball and took a 'family walk.'. Cash asks to take a family walk every night. We love it!

This cool morning we have t ball at 9. Yowza! It's going to be cold! But it's supposed to be a fabulous day, 70 and sunny! So we will play outside all day I'm sure :)

Fun weekend!!

What a great weekend! Friday night we went to Charleston to listen to music and let the kids play around. It was a lot of fun! My friend Shawn invited us, so we hung out with her and her husband and their daughter, Quincy. So much fun!!










Saturday morning we had t ball practice at 8:30--early!!! After that we headed to my parents house and hung out for a bit. Took a family nap, then played outside for hours! For dinner we went over to our favorite El Celaya!! It was delicious!!

Today we got outside early before the rain set in. I actually cleaned out the kids' closets which was so desperately needed! Then after some trampoline and playground time we had pizza.

Spent our afternoon playing inside then took dinner to my parents' house.

I'd call this a fabulous, family weekend! Lovin life :)

Happy Wednesday

Good morning!!  What a rainy night!  Monday was a great day!!  The sun was shining and we had a fabulous evening.  Camryn and I went to her mommy/toddler gymnastics class at 6:30 and had a great time.  The boys stayed home, took a canoe ride, and jumped on the trampoline until their legs were worn out.  We have pretty much eaten dinner outside on the deck every single night that the sun has been shining.  The kids love our 'picnics.'  Tuesday was another beautiful day!  Last night we played outside again, mostly on the trampoline and their playground.  We also took what Cash calls a 'family walk' after our picnic.  Basically we just walk along the road and throw rocks into the dirt!  Fun stuff!!  The kids love it!!

Looks like it's gonna be a rainy weekend...no fun!  Have a great day!

I'm gonna try this again :)

Well, it is April 8th and been about 6 weeks since I've done a blog.  I completely forget about doing it most of the time, but I read others' blogs and wish I would have been keeping up.  So, I'm gonna give it another shot. 

A lot has happened since that last blog.  We have taken a number of little trips to Little Rock, OKC, and Branson.  We love going places with the kids and taking them to the zoos, museums, shows or whatever we can.  On March 19th I started a new job/career with Sparks.  My title is Director of Physician Business Development, which is a fancy way to say I work with Primary Care Docs and Internists to help generate business for Sparks---be it referrals for admittance, surgeries, or whatever they need.  I am really enjoying it. 

Caden is only a little over a month from finishing kindergarten.  It honestly doesn't seem real that he can be that big.  Cash will be starting K in the fall!  It is crazy!!  Camryn is doing great in daycare!  She is the sweetest little girl ever :)  Quite the tomboy really but why would I expect anything different with 2 big brothers to show her everything.  They bring us constant joy and happiness like nothing I'd have ever imagined.

All 3 of the kiddos are still doing gymnastics and are doing great!  They love it, too, so that makes it so much fun.  T ball has just started as well, so we will see how that goes.  We have only had 1 practice so far.  Games probably start in a few weeks, and both boys get to play this year. 

We have booked a vacation for the summer with Jess/Chip, Jered/Tasha, and Luke/Emily to the Dominican Republic.  We are SO EXCITED!!  It's gonna be so much fun!!

It is Easter Sunday today and what a beautiful day it is.  Christ is risen!!
