Halloween 2011

Halloween is so much more fun when there are 3 little ones to dress up in silly, fun costumes!  I love all holidays so much more now that I have kids.  This year we decided on an angel for Camryn, a ninja for Cash and dracula for Caden.  What fun!  Last Friday we went to the fall festival at mom's school.  Camryn actually won the costume contest so that was pretty cool.  She was pretty sleepy but managed to have some fun anyway.  The boys had a great time, jumping in the bounce around and getting candy and goodies from everyone.  Actually Caden was also Venom (the black spider man) for the fall festival.  But he really wanted to be dracula for Halloween. 

Saturday we messed around here all day and then went on a hay ride and for a cookout at Tasha's mom's house in Booneville.  What a beautiful place they have over there!  It was a lot of fun!

Saturday night Rob and I had a little date to the casino to listen to Restless Heart play music.  It was fabulous!  We had a really great time. 

Sunday we worked outside all day before heading to mom and dad's for a delicious dinner!  We had smoked chicken, mac and cheese, squash casserole, rolls, and ice cream for dessert.  It was yummy!!

Monday brought on Halloween.  We only stop at a few places b/c the kids get so much candy from each of them that there's no reason to go to a bunch of places.  Plus, they are still a little young I think to just wander around to people's houses asking for candy...call me crazy.  I am quite protective of these 3 little angels. 

Our first stop was Gene and Pat's.  They are our former neighbors, and in my opinion, Camryn's other grandparents.  We LOVE them!  They are so fabulous! Second stop was Patty's house.  She always loads the kids up with TONS of candy.  I mean it's enough to last til next year...literally!  And she always gives them glow bracelets and other light up gadgets. The kids love it!  These pictures below are from her yard.  They have an awesome old truck they put pumpkins and stuff on for pictures.  It's so great!

Then we ran by Jered's for a minute and picked up some toys that he and Tash had gotten the kids before finishing up at mom and dad's. I think the reason we don't go too many places too is b/c Caden has to get a lot of sleep. Kindergarten wears a little man out! We left the house at 5 and even with that few stops still didn't get home til 8:45. So anyway, we went to my parents' house and had dinner and messed around there. Lots of fun!

So with that picture I will leave you.  We are heading out tonight for OKC to take the kids to the science museum tomorrow!  I'm so looking forward to it.  They love it there.  After that we are going to the horse races, then onto Tulsa for Rob's birthday dinner.  Gonna be lots of fun!  Loving life :)
