Anniversary Trip

Today, January 2, 2010 is 2 years from the day that Rob and I got married.  Nothing fancy at all...simply a drive down Garrison Ave to the Courthouse.  But it has been the most wonderful and amazing 2 years I could have ever asked for.  I am so thankful and blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life.  He is so loving and kind and thoughtful and honestly the best husband and daddy in the world. 

For our anniversary, we took a short little trip over to Tulsa to do a little shopping and eating.  Thank you very much to my parents who watched the kiddos.  We left out Saturday around 1:00 and drove over to the mall.  We spent a few hours there and found a ton of Christmas stuff on sale at Dillard's!  It was great!  Bought a few new clothes and then headed to the hotel to get ready for dinner.  The hotel was so nice!  It is called The Mayo and is in downtown Tulsa.

I absolutely loved the hotel!  We got ready and went to dinner at Mahogany Steakhouse!  Incredible!!!  We have been there a couple times for special occasions, and it is always just fabulous!  After dinner we headed to Cheesecake Factory for dessert.  I know...that's disgusting that we can eat that much!  But sometimes you gotta celebrate. 

So anyway, we got up early this morning and headed back.  It was so nice to get away with my wonderful, handsome husband.  But now we've got to get back to reality.  The painters are coming tomorrow so we are spending our Sunday getting stuff cleaned up and put away so they can paint.  Next week I will have a TON of pictures of the newly painted house.  I cannot wait!!!
