Our weekend

This weekend was kinda filled with adult stuff.  Friday I spent the day at home playing with the kiddos and when Rob got home from work, he and the boys had their last big snowball fight.  It was hilarious.  They really enjoy the snow!  Then after their nap, I cooked up some lasagna and they had dinner.  Mom came over to watch the kids from about 7 til 10, and Rob and I went to a tennis mixed doubles mixer.  It was a lot of fun!  After the mixer, we stopped at Chili's with Kim and Brandon and had some dessert.  Then it was time to come home to a quiet, sleeping house full of kids.  My mom is the best!!  The kids just love their Nain.

So that night around 4, Camryn decided it was time to get up and play....til 5:30!!  That's right, we were up for an hour and a half in the middle of the night playing.  She is such a stinker.  But what was I to do??   So we played and I watched some of the Australian Open since it's on in the middle of the night here.  They are like 15 hours ahead of us or something.  We finally went back to bed and around 7:00, she and the boys were raring to go.  So my amazing husband got up with the kids and I slept in.  And I mean, slept in!  It was like 10:30 by the time I got up!  Wowza!!  I needed it I guess.

So when I got up, we took the kids to pizza warehouse for what we thought would be a nice lunch and lots of games.  Boy, were we wrong.  There were like 5 birthday parties going on!  Ahhh!!  So instead, Rob told them we could go to Toys R Us and get a toy.  They were perfectly happy with that.  So we went over there and Lucas Caden picked a little hot rod car and Cash picked a transformer.  Camryn got a miniature pots and pans set and she loves it.  It's so cute watching her pretend to cook.  She's cooked more in those things in 2 days than I have ever cooked in my real ones!  Haha!!

Saturday evening was Oh WATA night, which is a tennis fundraiser put on here in FS.  It's a pretty good time and a night to get out with Rob and see a lot of good friends.   There was a dinner, drinks, a live auction, a silent auction, and a live band.  We got to see a lot of people that we don't see too often, and it's fun to get dressed up and go out with my handsome husband.

So today, we have done a lot more little things at the house.  Floors were supposed to be put in last week, but they didn't get delivered b/c of weather.  So they are here now, and he is starting tomorrow.  So excited!  Today we finished putting on all the door knobs and hanging up all the pics that we had to take down for the painters.  The house is really coming together.  Only one million more things to do before we have it all done!! :)

Here are some pics from our night out...

Hope you have a great day!!
