Waters Fam Week

What a week! My big boy has started kindergarten. It seems so crazy to me that he can be that big. He has already become crazy independent in only 3 days. He is really having a great time. His teacher seems fabulous! He is so active, and the fact that he hasn't gotten in any trouble yet is HUGE to me! I'm super pleased with how things have gone. I love taking him and picking him up every day. It's so sweet to see him at the end of the day when he's all excited to tell me about his day. He runs up to me and jumps into my arms for a big hug and it is wonderful! I'm gonna do a post about him hopefully Sunday on how much he's grown and pictures through the years.

But for now...here's an update on the rest of our lives. We have bought a paint horse for the kids to ride....to go along with the 2 goats, puppy and kitty we have acquired as well. We are basically a full fledged farm! But we are sure enjoying it. The kids LOVE the animals. They are having so much fun riding the horse.

So this week since Caden has started school, we've worked hard at trying to get the kids to bed a little earlier since we have to be up pretty early. So each night we are limiting our activites to about an hour to hour and a half. During the summer, we pretty much spent like 3 or 4 hours each night either playing outside, swimming, or doing something. Not much time just sitting inside. So Tuesday night we rode the horse, Wednesday night we swam at mom and dad's then took a canoe ride, and tonight we played out in the backyard on the playground and rode bikes. It's been a really smooth week considering we are transitioning into kindergarten and the boys not being together all day. I mean Tuesday was the first day since March 15, 2007 (AKA when Cash was born) that they have not spent all day together.

I know I'm not a perfect wife, mom, or anything of the sort, but I sure love my family so very much!  I love these kids like I could never have imagined, and I am so proud of them.  Sometimes I find it hard to believe that in only one year I will have 2 kids in school.  I cannot believe they are that big...and that I am that OLD!!  Ha :)  Camryn will really seem like the baby then when she is the only one who stays home with me during the day.  She will be major spoiled!  Yikes!

I am also so very thankful to have the most wonderful, amazing husband to help me out in this journey.  We have been so very very blessed with a wonderful life that I know I'm not near deserving of.  I think that's maybe why I appreciate it so much....because I never thought life could or would be this great!  I thank God for giving me so many amazing gifts and entrusting them in my care.  Ok, this is getting heavy...enough!  Have a great day and I will blog more this weekend!
