2 week wrap up

So that's the title of this blog since I've not written in 2 weeks!  What the heck?  I just don't think about it.  Plus I don't figure there are but about 3 people that read it anyway, so who cares?  But Cathy put me in my place last night by texting me BLOG, BLOG, BLOG, BLOG!!  So here it is :)



Last weekend we went to the CC Fair parade in Mulberry which was SO much fun!  The kids got so much candy...it was insane!  So I gave them some but threw most of it away, b/c I am a mean mommy who doesn't want my kids eating candy all day and having rotten teeth.  I mean it was ridiculous how much they had.  They really got to eat a lot of it, but I couldn't let them have it all.  Yikes!  So after the parade, we all went to mom and dad's and mom had made beans and homemade cornbread.  Amazing!!  Man it was delicious!!  Dad challenged mom to see if she can 'burn us out' on the cornbread b/c it was so good and he wants it everyday.  It's got more calories than a cake I swear.   I think Paula Deen would be impressed with how much butter and sugar was in it.  Rob LOVED it!!  He's pretty much asked for it everday since :)


Sunday we went to church and then to Sallisaw to check on the new race horses Rob bought at the OKC Heritage sale last week.  We love horse racing and getting new horses and seeing what they can do.  It's a lot of fun!  Sunday nights are always rather boring around here b/c we just kinda stay home and relax.  We ordered Chili's and ate it here at the house and just got ready for another week!

This week has been a lot of fun!  I am absolutely loving this weather.  I mean I like really hot weather, too, but this has been perfection!  We can pretty much play outside all night when it's 80 degrees.  When it's 100 we have to take breaks!  So we've done a lot of that.  Tuesday night we went to see The Lion KIng 3D.  AWESOME!!!  That's probably my all time favorite movie so I loved it.  And last night we were sitting at the kitchen table and Cash said 'Lion King was awesome.'  So I know they all enjoyed it too. 

My mom and dad brought pizza over last night so we stayed here and ate and played all night.  I tell you what, Caden and Cash are so fired up and wild at night!  I think they really miss each other during the day b/c at night they are all about playing with each other and really getting after it!  They wrestle and kick and punch like crazy!  But what fun would it be if they didn't?? :)

Anyway, this weekend brings on a fun fun birthday party tomorrow night that we've beeen invited to.  It's superhero theme and gonna have bounce arounds and fun stuff!  So I'm sure I'll be eating my weight in cupcakes and sweets!  I swear, I am a sweets fanatic!  It's ridiculous.  That is where all of my calorie intake comes from.  Oh well, I can't help it!
