Wow what a fun week we have had!! I honestly can't remember Monday b/c that's just too long ago. But I do remember Tuesday! So that's where we will start. Also, pictures that go along with this blog are in the previous post, so I'm not going to re-post them. Just scroll through them and then this will all go together. Oh now I remember Monday...it was Labor Day! We spent the whole day together just the 5 of us hanging out around the house and playing outside....pretty much our favorite thing!
Tuesday I had a bunch of errands to run so I took Camryn and Cash to daycare for the day. I take them 1 or 2 days a week so they can learn a little and have some social interaction with kids their age. I ran my errands and then went to pick them up. Tuesday night Rob and I had a date at Beef O Brady's!! It was awesome....mostly because of the great friends and the awesome music courteosy of Heath Wright (lead singer for Ricochet). Oh he is just so good!! It was a lot of fun. The crowd was so much fun with Patty, Trudy, Teresa and their significant others, and my mom and dad, Jered/Tash, Luke/Em, and Trina and her daughter, and Uncle Dave and Aunt Darlene!! What a fun crowd!! So we got there around 7:00 and Heath played til after 10. We had to split about 9:45 which meant we missed Daddy's Money but ah well...had kiddos to pick up.
Wednesday was my day to spend with Camryn. We didn't do much of anything really...mostly just hung around the house. Or I should say if we did do much of anything I can't remember it! I swear I have the worst memory anymore!
Thursday Camryn and Cash went back to daycare, so I got the rest of my running done. Picked the kids up that afternoon and came home to play outside. We got cleaned up and ready around 6:00 and headed to Sister's in VB for our 2nd leg of the Heath Wright tour! The kids went to this one and I'm so glad they did. It was a fabulous time!! We stayed out way to late considering we had 3 kids with us, but for one night I figured it was ok. Around 10, Heath played Daddy's Money and the boys literally sang every word right along with Heath. They LOVE that song! It was so much fun!! The kids were absolutely perfect all night. They were so well behaved! Needless to say everyone slept very well that night.
Friday I stayed home with Cash and Camryn. At noon every Friday I play tennis with a few ladies. So I got to the club and was walking through the lobby area when I spotted....Dierks Bentley! That's right...there he was walking toward the gym to get a workout in. I walked up to him and said 'you're Dierks Bentley aren't you?' I told him I would not make a big deal about him being there b/c I didn't want to draw attention to him since he was just coming to work out. I asked him to take a picture with me and he did!! It's on the other post as well. Anyway we played our tennis and about an hour into it, he walked by and waved. He obviously LOVES me. Haha!! No but it was really cool!! He was pretty quiet, but again, I think he was trying not to be noticed.
Friday evening we went to El Celaya for dinner and got cupcakes for dessert. I have the worst eating habits of all time....it's ridiculous.
Saturday was a fun day around here. We rode the horse, played basketball, jumped on the trampoline, played on the swingset, and spent the whole day around the house. We all got in a short little nap in the middle of the afternoon, too! Then last night I cooked pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls and corn for dinner. That's Caden's favorite meal. I know, I know...pork chops? But if you fry them for about 5 minutes on each side then put them in the oven in a pan with mushroom gravy and milk, they are very tender and delicious!!
After dinner we just relaxed and watched TV til bedtime. Today we got up all raring to go for church and ended up not getting ready in time to go. It was ridiculous! So while we sat here in boredom, Rob said we should head to Claremore to the horse races. And that's just what we did. We loaded Camryn up and headed to OK. We went to the races for about 2 or 3 hours and then headed to Woodland Hills Mall...thank you very much! I love that mall! Anyway, I did a little damage there and then we went to TX Roadhouse for dinner. It was excellent but here I am 3 hours later, miserably full! Oh well, that's how my weekends usually go. Workout and eat light through the week only to eat like a pig and feel stuffed on Sunday night! Whatever...that's the way it goes.
Anyway, we don't have too much planned this week. In fact, nothing at all that I can think of, and that's just fine with me. I love the simplicity of sitting on the back deck and watching the kids play outside! Life is fabulous!!!!
